Downtown Nashville Loft
Onyx & Alabaster designed this two-story loft in downtown Nashville as a second home for their client. We filmed it with Tanya from the O+A team walking through each room.
Background
The client wanted a second home downtown, somewhere comfortable to come back to after a night in the city. O+A designed it to be modern and feminine, with a lot of texture.
Each room got its own treatment: leather and natural wood in the guest lounge, Italian terrazzo and bronze in the guest bath, olive and brass in the primary suite, deep green custom cabinetry in the remodeled primary bath, and a closet with glass-front cabinets and velvet-lined drawers. There's an animal-print powder bath, and the entertaining level centers on custom walnut cabinetry and a kitchen with a waterfall-edge stone counter. Tanya calls that kitchen the real art piece of the home.
What We Did
We filmed a tour of the finished loft with Tanya walking through it, explaining the design decisions and the problems the team solved for the client. The guest lounge, the primary suite, the kitchen and the closet each get their own segment.
Results
The film has more than 38,000 views, and O+A has versions sized for its website and social accounts.
